I just got done checking my MAF and one of the wires is completely black in color which indicates it is dirty. Now arent these supposed to have an o-ring because mine does not. I compared it to a picture of one that does have the o-ring and mine is deffinitely missing. Is that bad?

Nevermind I found it on the housing, it just came off somehow. Once I clean the wires am I supposed to let it dry for awhile before starting it up?

If you use alcohol it should dry up pretty quickly just by air drying.
