I've never cared for the flange thing found on the 94-95 setup myself

You can buy those adapters on eBay

I've seen some cut off the flange

You can go to a meter with no flange

When I was running the oem meter, I went to a plastics place and
bought a scrap piece of 12"x12"X3/4" piece of material made from
pvc. I then cut a hole and glued a short section of 3" pvc pipe to it.
Finally. I just drilled four mounting holes and I had a home made
adapter.

Spending a lot of money on a simple pipe
All you gotta do is go a hardware and think creatively

OR

You can do the same with big tuck exhaust pipe sections
but
You most likely will have to do a bit of welding
