I had a maf sensor to high voltage code and a maf sensor to low voltage code. cleaned the maf and it didnt help. Do i need a new maf sensor? Or is there something else I can do? The voltage codes were 157,158 it also had 212 anyone know what this is?

How is the car behaving? And, how did you clean the MAF sensor? 212 is related to the ignition module or the spout. Is the spout connected and seated properly (no bent pin)?

The car will die leaving from a complete stop if i dont let off the gas. The last two days the CEL has been on going to work with it acting like that, but on the way home no CEL and ran fine. For about three days before that the CEL was on all the time and had to let of the gas from a stop. Cleaned the maf with a q-tip and some carb cleaner also cleaned the IAC. This might be a dumb question but where is the spout so I can check it?

Spout is a little jumper wire....if you poke around the wiring harness, around the air inlet ducting, you should see a little gray rectangle piece...plugged in to a recptacle...about the size of your thumbnail.

Ignition module is underneath the air intake assy as well...it is bolted down inside a heat sink (finned rectangulaar piece), bolted down to sheetmetal

two different pieces

hope that helps

That was non-chlorinated cleaner, right?

Just for general knowledge when the CEL comes on the ECU is getting a voltage signal that is not expected and is related to emission's parameters. If the CEL goes off then whatever first triggered the event is now operating back within the expected values.
