Just put the magnaflow axle back on my 05 and it sounds good, I have a couple of questions though. I had to use all the adjustment available to get it so the pipes would line up the same out the back and still not rattle on the frame up under the car. Magnaflow calls for 1/2 inch clearance between the body panels and the pipes and I have just over 1/2 inch, but these pipes seem to get awful hot. I am worried that if the car would sit and idle long enough that the heat could actualy damage the paint on the car. Has anyone else with this system noticed this? I did not even bother to look or feel the stock pipes before the change to see if they got that hot, I know that with the mufflers so close to the end of the system that the heat will be greater that the traditional cat back on a fox body but it just seems really hot for being that close to a body panel. I may just be paranoid but I dont want to hurt my new baby.

If you have a little over a 1/2 inch you will be good, because of the muffler design, the exhaust tips will not get hotter then the tips did on the older Mustangs-

I have a 1/4" clearance on my daily driver for 2 years now and my paint is still perfect

Here's a pic of how close mine are. I have had no problems in 2500+ miles with them on (and they're not even polished)
