Has anybody put Magnaflows, or I guess any other muffler on their Stang's stock exhaust just by removing the stock mufflers? Will it sound good? Just trying to save a few bucks but add some sound. I'm thinking the 4-inch round style mufflers by Magnaflow (I'm open to suggestions!!). Also does anybody know what the stock pipe size is or what size inlet/outlet I would have to get if I tried this out?

1LowGT, what size mufflers did you get, how do they sound and where did you get the adapters? I just want it to sound louder than stock.

You aren't going to be taken by surprise at the volume increase, if there is any. The main restriction in your exhaust is the catalytic converter setup.

Yes, a reputable muffler shop should be able to weld them in nicely, using the stock tubing.

I got the race bullets before my o/r H. They are a bullet style muffler, so they are strait through. Still only a little louder than my 2 chamber delta flows. But man when I got the mid-pipe it REALLY made it loud.
