Depends on how loud you want to go. I'd try listening to an off-road and catted exhaust combo in person before deciding. Exhaust note sound is such a subjective issue...

honestly i prefer the cats, they make the tone alot smoother, very sexy. however, the off road will be very loud and wicked sounding, but raspy and maybe a little crackle here and there.

Its all a matter of opinion. My cousin has a magnaflow catted x and magnapack catback on his 03 cobra. If i were you, i'd get that... it is LOUD, BURBLES, GURGLES, SCREAMS LIKE A BANCHEE!!! and is perfectly acceptable for a daily driver as well and wouldnt upset your grandma in the passenger seat until you put the pedal all the way down. I think that offroad x pipe with a magnapack would be way too much. It will sound good, but it will be much raspier.

I had both for a while so when I got tired of it being too loud, I just switched to the catted x. The o/r x is veeeeery raspy and it will pop alot, especially on downshifts. Unless you plan on doing what I did and having both, then go ahead, but if you gotta decide between one or the other....the magnaflow catted x sounds awesome, still loud as hell, but way cleaner.

I got the catted X for emission purposes and I'm perfectly happy with the power, the loudness and quality of sound.
