Ok, I know y'all are probably getting tired of my exhaust questions, but I've searched everywhere and have found very limited sound clips/video of either muffler on a 5.0. I've searched through the forums on here too and most of the cars with these seem to be 4.6s.

Anyone got a good vid of either one on a 5.0? Especially idle (not on the ground though). I've got cats so they won't be too raspy and I'm gonna pick one of them up on Friday hopefully, but I can't make up my mind. But I'm tired of having the same old Blowmasters.

Here's the few good vids I could find:
Violator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaWLg08EUMk&feature=related
Magnapack: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/95-Mustang-GT-Magnapacks_127588.htm
Magnapack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gzdDJNQNHw
I know this is a 4.6, but it sounds so good....
Violator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWFQ8qbfK5o&NR=1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok, found one that sounds pretty good with Violators. I think it's from Pypes' website

i've got the pypes violators with a bbk catted h. sounds stock at idle, but being a flow through muff really gets louder with rpm's. sorry i don't have a vid yet. why be like everybody else and have flows or packs. be different and cost effective at the same time. had them on for over a year now, totally satisified

That's what I figure. The flows sound good, but they're soooo common. Still not sure though. I like both the packs and the violators.

I got magnaflow magnapack and it is very loud. If i had to do it again i probably go back to flowmasters. I would do super 44 personally.

you just can't beat the sound of the flows.

I have the Violator catback, and off road X on my 95. I love it. Most think its too raspy, but not me.

on my pypes they only crackle like the vids at initial start up not once the motor is warm. that would bother me if it did it all the time. just wanted to throw that in as a FYI.

Yeah, I don't want something that will cackle all the time, but I definitely want to be loud
I have a high flow catted H (might as well be offroad though) and an E-cam, so mine should still have some bark to it at idle.
I'm leaning toward the Packs though cuz I've never heard another stang with them around here (college) or at home. And they sound mean up high...

Choosing mufflers is tough

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Yeah, but there's just something about a mean sounding V8 that you can hear from a mile away that gets me excited...

I currently have an ORX on mine with stock shortys. I have a set of magnapacks (weld ins) that will be going on the car eventually. Still need to get tail pipes ready for it. Theres a take off vid of magnpacks and an ORX. I love it, very aggressive.
