I have searched all over trying to answer this question and have had no luck finding an answer.

I currently have (for almost a year) the Magnaflow catback system #15671 with the 4x9x14 SS high flow mufflers. I want to just replace the mufflers with Magnapacks and need to know if they will just bolt into the existing system, or if they will have to be welded in??

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it will work since the magnaflow mufflers have offset inlets and outlets, and the magnapacks are center inlet/outlet by nature....

I would say try and swap with someone that wants to switch to magnaflows from packs...

If it doesn't fit, then take it to a good muffler shop. There's no reason why they can't weld a set it. Wouldn't be too expensive either.

Or sell them to me at a greatly reduced price and get yourself a new system!
Note that we are both in North FL . . . .

I forgot about the whole off-set issue. Thanks for reminding me.

I was hoping to be able to do it myself (bolt-on) and since I have no welding skills (or equipment), I will probably have to take it to a shop.

If they were bolt-ons I would probably order them today, have them shipped to a buddy down south and put them on there while I'm on vacation. But since I'll have to have them welded, they need to be delivered at home and then go to a shop up here, I probably won't get around to it until November .
