I was looking into getting one of the 10pt cages from jegs, just wanted to see if anyone else was running one. I have heard stories of mail order cages having poor fitment issues. Another item i wanted to address at the same time was the rear bulkhead, since i have a hatch and will be running a fuel cell. I havent started to search alot on those yet, was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction. Thanks

I agree, http://www.swracecars.com/ is the way to go. It's worth the ride down from NY to pick one up, your main hoop won't get bend up.

I bought the 8 point 1 3/4" mild steel since my car won't see the sub 10's. I also got the side bar swing outs. The 10 point comes with the smaller 1 5/8" pipes which reduces the weight some, but not worth the trouble of removing the windshield for installation.

I'm not installed yet. My plan is cut, position everything and tach weld the pipes. Cut the pipes for the swing outs and remove the bars for welding outside the car. That will almost eliminate the position welds and produce high quality weld joints.

I bought a 8 point lakewood roll bar. It worked great. We had to bend a few things a little but we had all the right tools to install it.

I got the Competition Engineering 8 pt kit from Summit, and a bulkhead from Wolferacecraft.

I am just now trial fitting the bar. It should work. I will be doing the fitting with a Sawzall and grinders.
