what major additions do I need to have before I can buy a supercharger?
I plan on saving and getting a kenne bell. I have a pro 5.0 shifter 75mm accufab throttle body and a c&l plenum so far. I also plan on getting 3.73 ford racing gears

I don't know if you are really gonna need those gears. I have to feather the pedal to launch. If I don't the wheels will just keep on spinning. But those gears aren't really that much higher than stock so it may not make much of a difference. I don't think having an aluminum driveshaft would hurt. A new clutch would be a good idea. I'm fixing to get a centerforce clutch and possibly a new flywheel. If I come up with something else, I'll post.

oh I almost forgot I have it lined up to get an x pipe and cat back system later in the year. The supercharger is a distant addition but it will come!

If you are going to install a new driveshaft, do it when you are installing your exhaust. It will make it MUCH easier. The driveshaft is incredibly simple to install anyway so it would take too much out of your install time.

a little off topic, but what is the GT Feature Package?

wait so I shouldnt get the plenum and throttle body? I was just ordering it today I havent actually placed the order yet.

Don't get the plenum! If you want a new TB you should probably get it from KB. Actually the TB that KB sells is the Accufab 75mm...so you can go ahead and get that from anyone. I just bought mine from them since I was getting a few other things from 'em.

It was a special package that Ford did in 2000. It includes stripes on the hood and the wheels are slightly different. It's pretty rare where I live. I haven't seen another one exactly like mine. It's silver with black stripes.

will the driveshaft translate into less loss of power through drivetrain or increased throttle response, or both?

It actually should free up some power by reducing weight. It should also increase throttle response. Don't count on any SOTP increase. The gains are so minimal its not even worth counting. They are lighter and stronger than the stock steel driveshaft.
