I will drive one in a week and a half...I'll be 18 then!

But i've heard that most fox-owners hate driving the s197 after their fox...but i'll be able to decide that for myself.

the more bling the better, the hondas wont know what hit'em when you drive by in your low riding fox, with the street bench on the trunk and spinny hub caps, blasten that stock system until your lights start flickering..

I'm in!!!!!!!!

Sheesh, it's almost like someone can't vent anymore. The guy was stating his opinion. The guy was basically saying he doesn't like a Mustang that has been....*gasp*.... "riced out". He wasn't saying he hated anyone who have chrome and 20's on a 'Stang. Be real folks, to each his own. I was really waiting for RS200 to say how he should buy an import .

To the original poster: Next time, don't mention weed and beer. It always makes people think you're using it right now. On the other hand, this is Stangnet, don't bother posting you're opinion without a flamesuit... ever.

As far as the S197 thing goes I now own 2 fox cars a New Edge car and an 07 GT that I must say I friggn love. I will never leave my old foxes go cause thats what got this snowball rolln but they are not even close. I will give Ford some props they almost got it right for a change they made it to the 10 and dropped the ball on a lot of stuff with them but hey they did it with the 03,04 Cobras too. Thats just Ford they almost get there with a real nice auto and then they just Ford the rest of it up. But hey I bought it and I love it so who's the dummy?

Never said you couldn't. But you won't have a car that is comparable. Have you ever driven a new S197 Mustang. They are a amazing car. Truly

over rated. have driven them and the only thing I can say I like is the seat was more comfortable. sorry to say they are everywhere too. Dash really cramps up the passenger compartment for driver and passenger leg room.

Its a NEW mustang. Its more modern. It drives so much nicer. Have you ever driven one? I've driven a S197 V6, GT, Shelby GT, S281 Saleen. Amazing cars.

I do like that the shifter is pulled back more with the stereo/hvac controls. drives nicer? hmmmmm I dont care for the "drive by wire" throttle system. Doesnt feel as nice as my fox or my new edge. handling... yeah it is better but you can add most things to any other mustang to make it handle nicer than stock. When ford did the fox they (for the most part) did it right. yeah there are things that could have been better and no one understands why they did some things but at its heart it is a blue collar car. Simply and easy to mod/work on. PLus The fox is getting to be harder to find these days because guys are keeping them longer. Parts are cheaper and readily available. Given the s197 have many parts available but you pay out the nose. A buddy bought a 07 and took a second loan out for mods from a mustang shop. given it is faster and has .... more body panels but for an additional $4-5K.... not worth it. YOu can do a lot of mods to a fox for $4-5K and be just as fast if not faster and still own your car out right.

To each his own I guess.

FYI- i may have gone to new edge but "ALMOST STOCK" is still my favorite mustang. and yes I still wish I had my fox. mark my words, I WILL HAVE ANOTHER

There was this OG named Gangsta Greg. He was like a straight balla pimp style homie. He would like cap motha fockers just at random & chit yo. I'm not playin' yo.

So, anyways, he ran all the chit on his block. He went to the discount tire shop and was like "Yo, hook a brotha up with some chrome 20's dawg" and threw a stack of mad cash at them. :Word:

Bling Bling?

For a few of the ads I wasn't saying anything about the engine in my ad :Zip2: it said only if your adding more horsepower if you call that bling bling I don't that's just doind a Mustang justice, big ugly rims and that huge spoiler is not . On my 91 Mustang I have put : Roush 342R Crate Engine built on a dart block. March Performance billet pulleys and Serpentine belt kit. Tremec 600 5-Speed Trans. Alum Bell housing. Pro 50 shifter. McLeod clutch. BBK quadrant clutch cable firewall adjust. Mallory Fuel Pump. Mallory Fuel Pressure Regulator. Flomaster exhaust system catback with stainless tips 3 inch chamber. BBK coated headers. BBK short high-flow midpipe. And I have everything chrome that can be chromed. So as for the guy that showed his or her engine picture I got no problems there that is a very sweet engine. :Track:
