Do you have the brakes yet? I bet brimbo has a standard caliper design and the only thing to change would be the mounting brackets. Just like all the pbr's. I would at least get the calipers and measure all the dimensions and everything before giving up on them. You might just have to get the right brackets, and then they would be a steal. Supposedly porsche cayman (I think thats what they are called, its the suv) brakes are hella easy to convert to mustangs, there is a kit sold by some company in canada, FPD. You can always sell them for 300 if they dont work. Or pm me the info and Ill look into it.
