My 65 mustang is coming closer and closer to a big milestone. It's in the shop having the paint and body work done and last time I checked on it they were putting the rear quarters on and the front end was a already primered. There was a slight hold up because I had to run out and get new outer wheel wells due to the fact they where rolled. the P.O had put flares on the rear with huge 10.5 or 11 inch tires while doing so he rolled the original fenders and cut the rocker panels. The body shop says they are planning to just patch with sheet metal(the rocker panels), is this recomended? it looks like the car should be painted and done within a week or 2, and I just order my TTII's, rims alone for 862 out the door. Not to bad for 17x8's. I'm getting excited trying to ignore the pains ofr being broke. advice fofr anyone about to get there car done have some extra money on top of the quote for needed parts things are bound to pop up when taking these 40 year old cars apart.
