Are you sure you blew a bearing...because there are no such thing as "block bearings". Unless you are talking about the main bearings which go between the block and crank...

I believe you would pull it via a couple of bolts that go into the block itself. They should be on top near the alternator, I think. I'm basing this off of pulling a 306 a few times, so it maybe a bit different for the mod motor.

yeah im very sure i locked one of the bearings on the cranck shaft the motor wont turn over and i opend the valve covers all the timing chains are on and i didnt see anything else wrong i also took the spark plugs out and looked inside and didnt see anything wrong so the only thing left is bearings and i know that it would be cheaper to just fix it but i wanna upgrade and get a strong bottem end to match my top end and get ready for a blower so i think iam gonna go with the mmr 900

www.modularmustangracing.com will set you up with everything you need engine wise.

never pulled a 4.6 before....but if you can pull the heads off, you can pull a motor. Just take it slow and be sure to unplug EVERYTHING.

Perhaps if you'd posted one of your last three threads it in the right section (Tech) 5-days ago, you might have gotten a few more replies.

I'll do you a big favor and merge the lot of them so you've got all your answers in one place.

thats the biggest run-on sentance i've ever seen.

i was going to try to help but i just cant understand what you are talking about doing.

do you have a lift?? you cant pull the engine from the bottom if you dont have an over head lift. i would recomend taking it to a shop before you do some serious damage.

Yes, someone has the MMR900 in their car.
Yes, it is a good choice.
Yes, there is something better. Isn't there always?

I'm not sure how many Home Runs you hit this year, but it's not likely to change from getting a forged block.

long and short, modularperformance.com for your engine

2 bolts from where the alt mounts to the block, and top 2 bolts where the trans mounts to the back of the block thats where you wanna lift it from.
