The '86 features a Keith Craft 408 using a Ford Racing Performance Parts block, Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads and intake, a Coast High Performance Spyder elbow, a polished Vortech YS-Trim supercharger, and much more. With a FAST DFI system, the car has made 647 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque with only 16 degrees timing on pump gas. Other features include Baer brakes, Griggs front suspension components, UPR rear suspension components, a Tremec TTC 3550, and FRPP Cobra R wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 treads.
obviously now minus the cobra r's

those wheels is what really makes that car. i dont really see anything specifically "gnar" about it other then it being an extremely clean 4 eye. dont get me wrong beautiful car. but the gist of what im picking up out of this thread is nobody has any idea what the specs are on it as far as engine/tranny/suspension.

I agree. It's very nice, and I like that the exterior is stock other than the hood, the wheels, and the ricer fog lights. Other than the fact that it looks cool, there's no info that suggests it's the coolest 4 eye ever. Now, if it had an ls1 eek: did i say that?) with the new kit to make 500cui, and obviously a turbo or two, with a t-56, then i'd almost be convinced. But as of now, it's just a clean 4 eye.

Call me a hater if you like. LS motors belong in Chebby's. Like the one in my Suburban... not in Mustangs.

nah, it's kind of an inside joke between me and a few of my friends who i hang out with (that also lurk on the board)

there was this dirtbag kid we knew that had some clapped out svo that always said things like "gnar" and "hesh" so we just joke around about it. well, mostly me becaus i dont think they post too much, they just kinda lurk.

"notch yeah" was made when i was drunk, so i apologize for that. im sorry my choice of words isn't pleasing your eyes, but your all men, im sure you'll get over it.

I believe that is Matt Barnes's 86 gt...i forget the exact set up but I wanna say its a blown 347 pushing about 600hp...I have another picture of it somewhere...and i also have a massive erection after seing it!

nevermind...i lied this is the one i was thinking of

but here is another picture of the car this thread is about...

I have both of these pics but i don't think they're the same car....i think they're just very similar. I don't think the car on top is a T top, it has different wheels, no front splitter, and no fog lights. I guess the last two could have been changed but then the car would have had to be in two different photo shoots at two different times.

I've no need to insult. I just close/delete threads.

85 LX 5.0 coupes were pretty badass. My brother owned one and I have yet to see another in person since. I wonder if one was made with t-tops. It would take my vote for baddest four eye.

Why did Ford deviate from the 85/86 body mouldings, especially the one on the panel before the rear tire... Its the greatest looking moulding ever.. Then they changed it to the dumb looking thick stuff with the indent for the pinstriping in 87-93
