They only difference you will really notice is low speed turning will require more effort. You'll learn that it easier to turn when you are moving. It'll actually feel better at higher speeds.
wow, really? I figured it would be like some older cars i have driven where its nearly impossible to turn the wheel at any time.
Thats quite interesting.....I am getting really tired of my power steering pump whining, and steer rack bushings leaking, etc... Rach has been replaces like 3 times and the pump once, im about fed up! lol

My car has powersteering....HOWEVER...my Father has about 15 antique cars. Most without power steering. All of them steer about the same way I described. Some had skinny tires, some have wide tires. Also my brother drove an '82 Mustang Ghia for a while that I also drove several times and it has manual steering. Was not hard to steer at all provided you had some kind of forward or reverse motion.
I have two with power and one with manual. I don't mind the manual at all. I have skinnies on front, but it is as easy to drive, park, etc as the others.
