OK I have read a lot on this lately. I want to ditch my power steering pump for the 5.0 I have in my 99. I have found a manual rack and pinion for my 99 Mustang. I wanted to know if when I buy this I can re-use the old steering shaft? They sell this kit for $279.00 but for $400+ that sell the one with a shaft. I want to save $$, can I re-use original?
