Manual Transmission Fluid

How often should the manual transmission fluid be changed? I have an 04 GT with about 45K miles on it. Nothing in any of the maintenance books mentions manual transmissions. Does it need to be changed? I notice the rear axle fluid is ok until 150K miles!

Manual fluid needs changed much less often than auto, I would say it needs to be done every 60k.

I changed mine at 30k and 110k, the only reason i changed it was cause it seemed like it hadnt been changed in an awful long time.

I just changed mine @ 53K, but the manual called for doing it @ 60K. Used Royal Purple and I'm very happy with the results.

wow i changed mine at 15,000 then again at 28,000.

Whether manula or standard I've always changed the tranny fluid at 30k intervals.

I change mine with Royal Purple Syncromax about 2 weeks ago with 34000 miles on it. I am loving Royal Purple Syncromax cause it took care of my 2nd gear grind yayayyyy
