I know this is old, but I also noticed alot of the lamp (bulb) numbers are listed wrong. both my 79 mustang and my 85 mustangs used 1156 bulbs for example, and parts stores keeps pushing 1157's at me, but thats not the same, (they often tell me its the same which is riduiculous. you not even fit the wrong bulb into the socket. the map lightbulb needed replaced after I replaced the headliner. (the map is the one in the ceiling) on my 85 mustang - it takes a Sylvania # 561 bulb. it helps to get a copy of the owners manual if you dont have one. it lists the specific bulbs and fuses for things. when you buy a part, save the type and part number in your repair manual or a notebook so you have easier time getting new ones next time.
