map pockets in a '90?

Anyone remove the map pockets completely? They are SHOT!
I am looking for suggestions on what to do.

You could put carpet in place of the map pockets like in the 87-89 cars. If you take off the door panel and look on the back of it you'll see some metal clips that you can bend; then the map pocket assembly should come off.

I used left over black vinyl to cover that pocket panel, pretty easy to do if your actual door panel isn't too shot.

I used left over perforated leather from my seat project.

The board holding the pocket comes off in about a minute after you pull the door panel. The pocket is stapled to the board the can be easily removed. Then do what you will with the board.

Those look nice. I will probably end up doing something along those lines. Nice garage

Sweet. The ones in my Capri need to die.

but where will you keep all your maps and french fries that fall out of the carton?
