I have done a search but i havent found any threads with the same problem i have. I bought a mustang with a cracked block and i put a new motor in it. When i did this i had a little problem with the vacuum lines. Today i pulled the intake and found that pcv valve was missing. I thought this was going to be the problem to all of my missing and popping. So after installing a new pvc valve i drove it around and still found a litlle miss. When i opened the hood i looked at the map sensor and saw that it had a electrical connection but it did not have a vacuum line on it. So what my question is where does that vacuum line run from on the map sensor? Thanks for any replys.

Are you correctly referring to the sensor? A MAP sensor does have a vac line attached to it. MAP sensors are used in SD set-ups.

A BAP sensor, used on MAF cars, does not have a line attached to it. It simply monitors ambient atmospheric pressure.

I dont think I saw a year for your car, so chances are that Tim is correct. But since you did mention MAP, it caught my eye.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replys i have a 89 so i wont have a line going to the map sensor. Man i guess i will have to find out where this leak is coming from. Thanks anyways.
