ok, this is the power steering pump pulley from march, these three threaded holes are what I cant figure out. All it came with was this pulley and warranty info. The pics I see of their pulleys it seems have a cover over the center of the pulley in order to clean the look up. Is this a seperate part or am I supposed to get this in the box and thats what the three holes are for? Its part #504

I think the cover bolts on using those holes so if you have no cover and you have no capscrews then you don't have everything.

That is retarded. So they expect you to deal with 3 ugly holes in a pulley unless you pony up some more cash? This is precisely why I usually make all my own parts.

Yeh I know, but I think that's sales for ya.

"Here are your light shiny alloy pulleys. Oh, if you want them to look finished, you'll have to buy these covers as well."

To me though, it's kind of a trade off, if you want it to look better, you'll put more rotating mass on, sure only a tiny amount, but it all adds up. If you're interested more in performance, it might tickle you to have the nuts and bolts visible, the raw performance of it.
