mark viii 4.6 in a fox?

all right so heres my situation i have a 94 mark viii with the 4.6 dohc that i'm selling .
if it doesnt sell i was thinking about what i would need to put the motor and possibly trans cuz it was rebuilt last year by the previous owner and has had a shift kit installed.

but what would i need to throw it in a fox body.

any help would be appreciated as far as wiring motor mounts...etc

pretty much what would i need to do this and have her running?

I am putting a 4.6L 2V in my notch right now. This has been a TON of work. I had a donor car, but it was another Mustang, so I used the entire harness from headlights to tailights, the dash, the console...etc. I also used the 96-04 K frame. That is a must.

Since you have a Mark you won't be able to use the entire harness. You will have to wire the motor and computer harness into the fox harness. good luck with that, I have no clue about aftermarket or do it yourself wiring.

I started the swap with my Fox that you showed interest in trading.

I would recommend you contact "A-reliable" in Blue Island about buying a low mile 4.6L DOHC from a mark 8. Mine ran about 395 when I bought it a few years ago but they have gone up. The good thing about them is the free delivery and then you have the motor out of the car already. A lot of the underhood wires will line up with the 4.6 as my car is a 93 as well and so many of the sensors and connectors were identical. I think I might still have a flywheel for a 4.6L DOHC as well.

You will also need to run a 96 and up hydro boost brake master cylinder to clear the drivers side of the engine. I would also recomend using a tubular K-member because you will need to swap it anyway to a 96 and up unit.

I started doing a list of the wires I needed to change over to get the harness in the car to wire up to the lincoln motor, I am sure I can dig it up.
