I've always heard to run the Mark VIII fan. I just ordered one from ebay for about $70, to replace my busted ramchargers fan. I'm also going to run it with the DCC fan controller

I run a Mark VIII fan and a DCC FK35. I don't ever have to worry about cooling issues with my car ever again. By far it is one of the best setups for keeping your car temperature very steady.

I would be very willing to bet that the Mk 8 and Dc Controller will work wonderfully, so long as you dont have space constraints (that's a fan concern only).

I would email Brian Baskin - I consider myself somewhat savvy but we chatted recently and he is full of wonderful tips and theory as to WHY you can run what he suggests. Plus he came up with an idea or two that I had not even considered.

He was very timely in replying (on a Sunday, no less).

Good luck.

His username here is Baskin, as I recall.

Here's his site:

Good luck.
