Mark VIII runs 9's!!!!

Of course it was 1/8th mile track


But its the first time I ever ran it and was plauged with the one wheel peel
Took me a couple tries to get it right but I still had major traction problems. If I had a trac loc I believe I could shave a second or more. I couldnt burn out and had to launch at 1100 rpm and roll on the throttle. I hit WOT at about the 60' mark, anything before that and it would just sit and spin

Anyway, on a track that has proven itself to be slow wasn that bad. I really wana run my Termi there when it gets done.

On to my times. I did 9-10 runs and didnt get a couple slips due to various timing/printing issues. The run that felt the best didnt even post on the boards

Its just a loose h-pipe No biggie.
Besides, I fixed that high idle problem

But thats what you get! You were supposed to let me run it and you just lined back up against that S197 GT. It will be all good though. Funny thing is I reset my computer and for the whole time running at the track and our high speed running I averager 21.4mpg

I was really suprised when i pulled the couple car lengths on you that first time. Me------> I was smiling so much that I turned down the wrong return road

I was pleased with it. It was faster then 3 different V-8 stangs (an Aero, New Edge and a S197) and several trucks and an Escort ZX2 (big whoop)

It was good fun and I drive past the track every freakin day. I will prolly go every other week now
And hot331, bite me. Dont behave like the SVTP guys
