Anyone ever had any experience with this company. I want to get rid of my leaf springs, but with the limited options out there( TCP & Griggs), both being rediculously expensive, this would be a cheap alternative.
and he is a 'stang guy himself. He told me that they have people drag racing, circle track racing, and road course racing using his suspension. He is quite knowledgable concerning desirable suspension behavior.
I have already done the R & C front suspension transplant on my '66 'vert. For the rear, we are relocating the leafs to the inside of the frame rails, fabricating some support, etc. This will be a play car...had thought I would add a turbo to the 5.0 efi motor, but am now going to use a Kenne Bell blower so that I can break loose the huge rear tires that the re-work will allow.
When I get around to messing with my 2+2, I may go with the Martz rear end. Gary was getting ready to go do some performance testing on his '65 and I will be interested in hearing how it comes out.
This will be a weekend driver but with occasional trips to the strip. And no its not a poser. Why would I upgrade the rear end to be a poser. I would put some huge wing on 4 banger honda if I wanted to be a poser. I am running a 351 fuel injected with a tremec if that helps.

No offense meant, but on the rare occasion, someone wants the look without the oats. I had a buddy that had a early Probe, we thought about tubbing the rear end with just the straight axle and paint it up like Bob Glidden's Probe with the hood scoop and all, but it would still be FWD with skinnies, LOL!! This was back when Glidden was still winning championships so it was a while back.
But you didn't answer some of my other questions, are you looking bolt in or weld in? Do you plan on putting it in yourself or having someone else do it. Mike Duffy Race Cars in Moore does great work, but he's usually backed up quite a bit and he might be out of your price range. But he is a dealer for Art Morrison and you could put a 9" with a set of Ladder Bars and Coil overs that would let you loose the leaf springs. You can buy a rear clip already welded up that you weld in yourself if you don't mind loosing the rear seat. Those other systems look to be more for the twisties than the strip. If you can't put it in ourself, Mike might know of someone who could do it for you. Heck, if I had a 220 MIG, a plasma cutter, a shear and a sheet metal brake, I could probably do it as I've seen him do it enough. It's just a matter of checking 3 times before you weld to make sure it's square.
