I must know.. i adore your car and ive been looking at shades of red for a while and yours fits what I had in mind perfect.

I know multiple people who've painted/repainted their cars with code EP and it came marked "vermillion" from the shop when mixed.
I agree.Vibrant Red or Performance Red are the same (Code ES was clearcoat;code EY otherwise).It is quite orangy.Bright red and Vermillion are the same (Code EP) and look quite different than the EY/ES.See paintscratch.com for 1993 to get an idea of how they look.I had the paint shop do up some samples of these and a couple of others before I decided though.ms93gt said:No No No vibrant red, bright red, and vermillion red ARE NOT the same colors. Bright is your normal red which is a gloss lacquer look, hence bright. Vibrant is a vibrant color, almost orange. It is a special edition color which only came on a few gts and the cobra. Not too sure about vermillion.
