Mass air conversion question

I have been doing some research on this subject and have a couple questions

I have a 86GT harness I got from a donor car. Now I was searching ebay and found this.

has anyone used this? how easy is the install?

I do understand I will still need a A9L or A9P computer as well, my concern is that the 86 harness would not plug into one of these 89-93 massair computers. Will it?

The 86 harness will physically plug into the A9L or A9P computer. However, some of the pins are in the wrong place. Part of the conversion proceess is to move some pins from one location to another, and add the Mass Air wiring pins to the connector.

That $40 + shipping harness is overpriced. Just get a MAF connector from a similar size and shape from a donor in the junkyard (the 3.8 taurus is plentiful enough) and roughly 50 feet of wiring in any color(s) you like. That's your harness for cheap.

I bought the same kit, it's not a hard job to do. jrichker is exactly right, it's plugs in you justhave to move some of the wire around.
