I have a pretty much stock 95 GT (except for x-pipe, catback, and K&N). My mass air flow sensor just threw a code. I know these get dirty and need cleaning, especially when using the K&N. My question: If I do need to replace it, which one to buy? I suppose it needs to be a 19lbs (stock injector) mass air flow sensor. Is there an agreed upon best value (cost vs. performance) in these??

Post the code number. They can be cleaned with either electric cleaner (from like Radio Shack) or rubbing alcohol/Q-tip. Don't blast brake or carb cleaner in there. If you must get a new one then look into a Pro-M unit.

i agree with Joe...they can be cleaned rather easily, and that may fix your problem. But if you do need to replace it, I would look into a Pro-M 77mm or 80mm unit...

Thanks for the advice...

On a side note, this forum's email (ex. post notification) does not reach me. I am using Verizon for a cable company. I tried checking the junk email filter and it is off. I wonder why Verizon is bouncing back the StangNet emails???
