I believe it would work but you would have to have it recalibrated for the 95. The sensor should be the same with the same connector. Last time I checked with Pro-M (they are now Professional Mass Air Systems) they charge $99 to recal and do a flow test on one of their meters. So if you are getting the meter for a deal then it may be worth it.

I'd check with Pro-M first to make sure though.

I am fairly sure the 96+ had a new style connector at the maf plug pigtail. I run a 98gt maf and had to get the new style pigtail. That and the flange at the front of the meter that bolts to the air filter (if aftermarket filter is used) is bigger than the 94-95 needing a bigger or modded part there.

Don't do it. Buy a new one that is for your car. They have good deals on many different sites. buy new one no headache, and no questions.

If you live in hot area C&L is better. but pro-m is better on cooler weather. Just a thought

On a load based 94-95 eec the C&L is the last meter I would run. At least the fool method with the Pro-M/PMAS has a maftransfer of somekind along with better ease of tuning.

+1 I had all kinds of trouble running a C&L in hot weather. Never again.

To answer your original Q ..........

There is the mechanical fit of a meter
and
There is the electrical fit of a meter

Unless you have access to the maf transfer curve with pcm access
or possibly one of those maf adjuster interface box doo dads you
are kinda taking a chance with trying other meters.

btw ... I did some long exhaustive heavy reading
the other night on Granatelli Meters.

I had seen Don say they were made very accurate
and
After my research ... I was very impressed
