how do i get the pushrod out of the old 66 mustang fruit jar master cylinder?

usually a vise will work. (clamp the M/C in, and use a pair of vice grips) You have a small clip holdind the pushrod in place. Most of the time it goes flying when you do get it out!

alright a little confused here.... i have removed both of these pushrod thingies with a cylinder attached to each..... the one from the maverick m/c has a spring loaded one and the one from the 66 just has a plain cylinder ... do i change this entire cylinder or do i just change the pushrod part if so how can i get the cylinder off of the push rod.... sorry about this but i dont wanna get this wrong and then install it into the car

bump i need an answer asp i tried the old cylinder one and bench bleedng and got no pressure and then fluid started coming out the back of it so im guessint i just use the rod with the maverick cylinder but i dont know how to get it out of the cylinder yet.....

I'm not exactly clear on what you're saying. I'll make some guesses.

The rod can be stubborn and difficult to remove from the MC. A new/rebuilt MC should come with a new rod. If you have a thin screw driver or small pick, you may be able to get the clip off the end of the old rod. That should help.

If you're doing everything right with bench bleeding, it sounds like you have a defective MC. I got 2 defective MCs before I got a good one. The MC should firm up very quickly. Less than 5 minutes doing the bench bleeding.
