thanks for the quick reply hissin,that was my first thought that it was moisture but i dont park close to any source of water,granted it has been raining though.any suggestions for keeping the moisture out?also what i dont understand is i have 4 cars and the stang is the only one it happens tooHISSIN50 said:Does it happen more often when it is humid out? Do you park near sprinklers? You might have surface corrosion forming overnight. It takes a few revolutions and a smidge of heat to get rid of it.

well it started doing it about 2 weeks ago,i replaced the pads and shoes and drums about 2 months ago so i dont think that is the cause.deadlast said:maybe because the pads are so new?

i bled them when i replaced all the brakes,im gonna bleed em again today i guess anything is worth a shot at this point its kinda driving me crazy.tunedin302 said:When was the last time you bled the brake system? I had a similar problem with my truck. In the mornings it was almost like the caliper would lock up with the slightest touch. After a little bit then it was okay and braked normal, like the day before. I bled the system and it seems fine now. I just assumed that I was getting moisture into the system over time. Not sure if it was just a mere coincedence but it doesn't do it any longer.
