I was just wondering about him and his project this morning while working on my '68. Hope everything's OK.

Lol, I'm far enough north that I consider Sacto central Ca. I'm about 20 miles south of Eureka and about 2 hrs south of the Oregon Border.
I always considered anything North of Marin County to be Canada, Eh?

If we're Canucks (Canooks?) then wouldn't anything south of Salinas be Northern Mexico?69 Rustang said:
Seriously, I always thought I lived pretty much near the north pole until a few years ago. When I was in search of a fastback I traveled to northeastern Oregon (look for Milton-Freewater) to buy a "cherry" '68 fastback. I drove 12 hrs one way in 106+ heat to look at a pile of poop. I came home empty handed and was never so happy to get back home. I bitch and whine about this states politics and taxes and hippies as much as anyone, but I can't imagine living anywhere else. I live about 20 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from the most desolate forests you could imagine. I can ride my dirt bike anytime I want and within a few hours drive to several amusement parks. And with gas at only $3.45 a gallon, who would want to live anywhere else?
