i had my 95 stang in the shop for a broken intake bolt and they called me and said the oil pump went out. i took it home and drained the oil. it had a bunch of cotton like lint in the oil and only about 2 1/2 quarts of oil in it. I remembered when i checked on the car it had the intakes off and a towel covering the balancing shaft and lifters from dirt.(this is a 2000 model replacement). so i was betting that that towel was left under the intake when it was put back together. i took the intakes off and sure enough the towel was tore up and wrapped around the shaft and lint everywhere. so i hauled it back to them to show them and they are gonna flush the oil system and reassemble the motor back.
