So I just got my car running, poured water in it, and fired it up and let it warm up. Everything was going great sounded good. Then I noticed a tiny leak from my water temp guage sending unit. So I put a wrench on it and it snapped right off. Any tips on getting the broken peice out?

EZ out.

Maybe youll get it to work.but you may have to heat the surrounding metal as well.

Easy out, or a reverse drill bit. Those temp gauges are all pipe thread. Whenever dealing with pipe thread, lay the teflon tape on heavy.

Thanks for the tips guys. I went to advance auto and bought a broken screw extractor. Same thing as an ez out i beleive? Anyways it worked great!! Backed right out without even any heat. Got a new fitting and Teflon taped it, no leaks!! Once again thanks. I was worried I'd have to drill and tap it.
