I managed to get two runs in. 1st one I ran a 14.76 and on the second one I ran a 14.40 I had my tires overinflated when I took them off I could see there was an inch on each side that never touched the track. My 60' times could have been 0.20 seconds faster. Next time....
Dad ran a 14 flat and "babied" it down the track. He took off easy and let off before the 1/4 was up. I learn alot every time out. Next time I am bringing bags of ice. I talked to a guy and he said it knocked 1/2 a second off his time.
I do believe next tiem I will run the RX-7 though. I am going to run the Mustang a few more times down this way.
Dan- I am not mad at you dude it was an honest mistake I haven't been up that way in a real long time. I was frustrated because I should have known better where the tract is. I used to live in Altamont Springs and I have driven past that track at least 100 times!! I knew it was gonna rain and wanted to get as amny runs in as possible going 45 minutes out of my way was just frustrating. It was still fun!! The track was 100x better than Moroso too.
i've been gone for 4 nights ... did i miss anything important ... i'm too lazy to check ... but i did think you guys would have posted more. But we did great. We ended up 3rd in world .... we won our division ... we got the play of the day award ... and the leadership and control award ... plus not to mention all the little award we got. It was great ... we were pink and our robot kicked @ss ... but tomorrow i have my VICA state competition and i don't get back until thursday ... i'm missing so much school it's great. But it's ok ... i now have all A's ... it's like the best i've ever done in high school ... funny that it's last semester of my senior year ... anyway ... i can't believe 20 days until i graduate ... i can't wait ... i'm ready to be done ...
yeah im glad your not mad at me, but honestly thats only the third time ive seen the track and every time ive never driven or followed someone up there! and it was an honest mistake! i know now which way it is!
ill bring my video camera to the next autoX so you can see you first run, and your dad's! oh and i was on rx7 scene and got to see your rims you were talking about, they look awesome on your car!

it was interesting at the competition ... there was a GM tent there ... it was kinda cool ... there was a hummer ...a vette ...a saturn ... a couple riced out cavaliers ... an s-10 ... and some SUV's ... oh and a race car ... and some engines in the back ... a turbo diesel, and a showcase of how an engine works ... it was cute ... 
... and they actually made a cavalier look descent ... i mean the body kit wasn't too much and the spoiler wasn't a plane wing ... but it was a 4 door ... not to mention the turbo and intercooler ... in some of them ... oh and the saturn had the steering wheel with the red buttons ... that everyone thought was Nitrous buttons ... but to them it's not nitrous ... it's Nawz ... because that's how everyone pronounced it ... it was cute ... ok no, it wasn't ... ... but it was fun telling the guys it was just a horn button ... and a couple of the cars had the thing that made the car look like a 5 spd when it was really an automatic ... it was fun explaining to all the guys it was really an automatic too ... ... i know jason had a good laugh going in there ... not to mention they gave everyone squishy stress cubes, car calendars, and mouse pads w/ cars on them ... but it was fun ...

ok i missed like a whole bunch of nights posting .. i had to make up for it ... with a long pointless post ... but the cars there were amuzing ... i guess you sould've been there ... the saturn was my fav. it was yellow in the front red in the back ... probably lowered ... with the weird steering wheel ... body kit ... w/ the coffee can exaust w/ a little engine work (i stress little) ... i believe it was a sc2 ..... but i don't really remember ... not really worth my time to care enough ... but i got a good laugh out of it ...
... i know ... i'm a disapointment ... talking about saturns ...well thanks to you guys ... i don't think i want a truck anymore ... i'm now looking into getting a mustang (or i would like something like a vette but i don't have the funds) ... i think you guys have really rubbed off on me...
