Melbourne area stangs

the cobra R wing would be the best big wing he could put on there! at least its a wing made for a newer mustang and not the one that i saw!

It would still look bad. I'd almost rather see an aluminum on there than a Cobra R. Oh well. :D

I call dibs on the...um...nevermind. :D J/K, baglock. But yes, two ricer componants are not allowed on a Mustang. I can forgive one. But two...no way.

any of you guys got a tremec trans? i needa change the fluid in mine, and was wondering the easiest way. i guess i could just take the shifter off (not that easy)...but if you guys got ay ideas i would appreciate it.

Regardless of the make, I've always refilled mine through the shifter stalk. Unless you enjoy crawling under the car with that sloppy gear oil pump, it's the easiest way.

Even on my Ranger, which was up on 33" meats, it was easier to just pull out the shifter. Of course that was before I swapped in the C4...

Oh, yeah, Baglock, you missed my question before, so I'll ask it again. With you're wing...would it be possilbe ro remove the wing for normal driving, and just put it on for your road racing? I mean, this way, you can get your wing on the track, but won't be beat...I mean, laughed at for driving a domestic ricer. :D

There are two options, well three actually. One, I can just leave the thing on all the time but I do believe I'd be inviting random acts of vandalism from other mustang drivers. Two, I can pull the wing off, but leave the pillars. This is the easiest thing to do, but everybody knows what's supposed to be there and it'll just look plain dumb. Or three, I can figure a way to make a quick release setup to remove the pillars and wing section. That's the one I'm leaning towards right now.

Either way, it's going to be awhile. First is suspension, then brakes. After that, maybe the spoiler, but I think I'll build a 306 with about 18 lbs of boost from a D1-SC :D. I still haven't ruled out the 331 TT, but the 306 SC will be cheaper and more reliable. I would like to get at least 60K-80K miles out of it.
