I think the Altima is the faster more powerful of the two...maybe not...one is cheaper...and both are practically the same car(the Maxima and Altima)...one is 6 speed the other 5...only 10 HP difference between the two engines, same size, same weight almost...one is like 5 grand more or some crap like that.

They aren't. I was impressed. But she's a good wife and knows I bleed Ford blue, so until we can afford something reeaally nice like a GTS (not the stang, and definately not the toyota) or a McClaren, she's down with an Exporer. Plus, she drove a new one and loved it.

Yeah, the Altima is cheaper and 10 HP lower. But the Maxima has a dealer installed SC option
