I just chatted with san~man, and he brought up a good point. Any loss of TQ with X's can be made up with gears. I hadn't thought about that before. So since I am planning on getting gears sometime in the future, I think the x's with dumps is starting to look like my next mod.

I'll prolly be going with either 3.55's or 3.73. I'll have to consult baglock and TJ about it, cause I don't think it's good to have a high first gear for AutoXing. But 3.73's will be the max. 4.10's...

yeah 3.55's would probably be good! im no expert on gears, so i guess you'll have to consult the smart ones, maybe you could ask 1bad, i know he has gears, but his are some funky ass ones like 3.31 or something!!

I was waiting for the supra to do another run right at the end agianst a bike if I remember right. Looked like to me he had some kind of drivetrain problem or something.

I agree about the 4:10's on a 5-spd. They're a bit much for a daily driver. 3.55's are typically the best all around gear for autocrossing (and the lowest you can go and still be legal in ESP) but 3.73's would be fine too if you were wanting a compromise between auto-x and drag. If you were to go with 3.73's, I wouldn't worry about the legalities in ESP unless you went to a big competition like the nationals or Ft. Myers.

Hey Guys, I'm thinking about this spoiler for the GTS. I know it isn't huge and gawdy, but it's carbon fiber (light!) and does provide some decent down force

Don't hold your breath. My projects usually die about 80% towards completion . That's my fault for having such grandioso expectations. This will be the 2nd daily driver that I'm going to build myself out of.

Anyways, I do believe that I'm going to order it tomorrow...

Bag, I'm liking that wing and hood. How much do they cost? I mean, it's just a little flap thing for a wing. You could prolly build that yourself.

Yeah, but it's carbon fiber. I'd be hard pressed to find the materials. The spoiler is 4 bills and the hood is 10

There's a couple reasons I like it. One, it's light as hell. Two, it helps aerodynamics by scavenging air from under the chassis. And three, it's way different than anything else out there on the road. Definately a head turner. The only thing I don't like about it is the price.
