Does that extra 7 cents on the dollar mean that much to you. The only time I really get pissed off about sales tax is when I am spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on car parts. Thats when the sales tax really starts to get my attention.

Yeah, no kidding.

Yeah...okay...yes seven cents a dollar does mean a lot when I'm buying $200 worth of stuff. I never thought a student discount at the movies really mean that much...till I started saving $2 every time I used it. So now I want a nice little break on clothes (and if they jack the price up, fine, at least it's not going towards the state) Thanks for answering my question to, y'all. I'll take the replies as a yes.

Just goto the movies before 5-6 pm and you won't need to worry about a Student ID

well guys tonight was a wonderful night. decided to go out and do some street racing, so i met up with a local car group i know and went out to the races. everything was fine (minus the cops running us out of every place we went) until i was on my way home. I noticed my temp. gauge was running pretty hot, and figured it was just cause i had been beating on my car alittle for the last 2 or so hours...so i kept driving and it wasnt getting any lower. so i pulled over, popped the hood...and noticed alot of wonderful steam rising from the front of my motor. so i waited for the steam to quit, grabbed a flashlight and noticed steam coming from what appears to be a hose coming out of my waterpump. i looked closer and the hose looked fine, but radiator fluid was coming out from the top of it. so i filled the radiator to the top (it was almost empty ) started it up, and hopped on I-4 to try and make it home. got all the way to my exit, and had to fill it up with water again. finally made it home, and now i gotta deal with making sure that its my waterpump, and only my waterpump thats screwed...and go buy and install it.

you guys know how much a good waterpump is going to be? and how much of a pain in the ass it is to install one? i swear my stang is cursed...or maybe its just me.

A good water pump should cost around $65, just stay away from those cheap POS that discount sells. Might want to try Central Autoparts up on 17-92 right after 434, thats where I use to get my parts.
Replacing a water pump is a fairly easy job. Shouldn't take you more than 3 hours tops and thats if you are slowly doing the work. Just watch out for the water pump bolts themselves. I broke two of mine when I was replacing my water pump in the convertible, one really sucked because it broke off in the block.
I would personally just make sure that its a bad water pump first, they usually weap out of the little hole on the bottom if they are bad. If you could pressure test the coolant system you would easily be able to determine whats at fault. I say look over the two little hoses on the right side of the water pump first. I have seen many cases where these get swelled up and start to leak.

looks like a GM motor in a luxury sedan...

Look at the strut towers...active suspension. Frim and Soft ride control.

But I'm proably wrong...but I do know that its got cast manifolds and looks like a hydrualic clutch resevoir off to the right of the Master Cylinder.

That's a conversion of some sort... Look at the disconnected climate controls. Cast manifolds on a dressed motor like that usually means they didn't have room for headers. Knowing white's new affinity for bowtie trucks, I'd say it was an S10/15

If anyone is interested in checking it out, there's a Zinc Yellow '03 Cobra Coupe at Greeneway Ford. Very beautiful car. That thing has the NICEST seats imaginable in a car. Might have to invest in them for my GT. The tranny feels kinda slushy, though. It was hard to tell what gear I was in, of course, not like I was driving it. I'm sure it would have been easier if I was driving it at the time. But otherwise, very cool.

Not to flame or nothing, but that swap looks like @ss. Yeah, it's a small block V8 in a car that has the weight of a shoebox, but he could have at least cut the pulg wires to fit or used a decent bracket to mount the coil. JMHO

Yeah, it doesn't look too good, but the thing's gotta be fast. But he could have done a better job putting it in. Or at least cleaned it up a little.

It wasn't mentioned that it was just done yesterday, otherwise I could have cut him some slack.
