I thought it would do that sometime. That vortech chip was made for a bone stock car.I didnt think they did anything to it.Better call TJ and tell him bout it.Most likely you will need a custom chip for what you have.Vortech told us not to put any pipes and what not on my car for the fear that it would throw a check engine light. So if that light keeps coming on that means the computer is going into safe mode so your losing power.Just stay out of the pedal for awhile.Dont want to make the thing start pinging.Looks like your gonna need a dyno tune chip now.Which would give you way more power anyways. But yeah no check light for me for my car still has the stock cats in it.The 99 ups are real picky with aftermarket cat pipes.Either it will not throw a light or it will.

I don't think you'd want any of those poor street tires for an autocross-only car. They're made to last a long time, not grip. If your car will only see 1000 miles per year, save your money and buy something better. You don't need race tires, but at least get some good street tires. You're just throwing money away for not much gain compared to what you've got on there now, I'm sure.

Ah, I see, I thought you had the 712s for some reason. Thanks for the info, I didn't know if anyone had any experience with them.

The car isn't going to see autoX only duty, just the tires. I have an extra set of wheels, just for AutoX. What do you recommend as a 'good tire' since Kumho VictoRacers are 135.00 each?

I say spend the $135 each and get the Victoracers. Those things are damn near amazing on an auto-x course. Get two now and another pair later, you won't be sorry.

Thanks dude! I really like the open grille area vs the closed...flows more with the lower opening and the fog light holes. Plus I could put some cool chickenwire back in there!

Color compensation musta been way hard on that photo. It's not that it was THAT bright out, it was only normally bright...but the camera's alpha is so off that it DUMPS light onto all the photos and throws all of the colors off and makes it look like it's 115 degrees out and the sun is sitting about 20 miles Northwest.

No problem, bud. Just remember, the first 'Chops are always free, everyone after that is $10. I saw the cut out grille area on another 'Stang.. I think it looked pretty slick, so I did it there.

You were at the last meet, right? I don't think we formally met.. your kinda big aren't ya? Not fat big.. like, football player big.. right?

That was a joke, by the way, about the $10.

Oh that. Well, just about everyone I meet says I look like some other guy they know.. I guess I have one of those faces.

I'm your same weight, but like, 4 inches taller. I have such a high Metabolism.
You can't miss me at the next meet. I'm the only member who doesn't drive a Mustang!

I was one of 150 entries.. then one of 50 accepted into the show, now I am one of 10 prize winners!! I found out from one of my teachers' student assistants.. she spilled the beans to me. I will win a gift certificate for $50 to an art supply store that has yet to be named.
Hehe.. I rule.

The other people in my class got

I second the idea of two tires at a time. I know tires are expensive, but I see a lot of people put money into their car, then throw the cheapest, hardest pieces of junk on their wheels and complain about lack of traction at every opportunity.

I'm not real familiar with Melbourne, where is this in relation to where Hooters is? Would the esiest way to get there still be by way of the Eau Gallie exit on I-95?

if you take the eau gallie exit, come the way you normally come, but instead of turning on babcock, go to your next light, that is apollo. turn right and it will be down on your right just before you get to nasa
