well i was gonna wait till i put it in but ah what the hell its only a K&N. its the cheapest thing i could think of that would get me a few horses(1-2 hopefully). so now the mystery is over and it shipped out today supposedly im gonna call tomorrow and get tracking numbers and find out exactly! hopefully it will be here no later then friday afternoon so i can get that thing in!Originally posted by droptop93

you get the whole fipk thing or just the filter? you never know, alittle more air just might wake that 4banger right up!
unfortunately they dont make a FIPK for my car
so i settled just for the filter! and you never know it might wake up the sleeping beast!

yeah yeah all i need is money though! im going thursday to talk to the guy that baglock has been dealing with to see what he thinks can be done with my stang! hopefully he'll work with parts i can get cus i can get a remanufactured turbo for 533 dollars from where i work! i just needed a good starting point and figured fresh air was a good point!Originally posted by droptop93

Why did you have to order it? The shop you work at doesn't carry the part you need for your '93? Seems strange. Usually there's such a large selection, I'm surprised you couldn't just get it from the store.

I'll post it here and help the record setting thread, if you all melbourne peeps want more autoX time without the drive go to www.martinsportscarclub.com they are having a autoX at PALMBAY on May 12th. and there monthy autoX is moved to plam bay second sunday of every month(thats two events per month)

yes your right i could have gotten it here at a local auto store, but they all wanted like 45 dollars! the place i got it from was only 35 and there was no shipping cost! so the way i look at it is yeah i have to wait to get it, but i saved 10 dollars by doing so! and actually if i had ordered it from where i work it would have cost about 55!

I drove a snowmobile out in Colorado a few years ago. It would go from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and top speed was 90mph. I only had enough balls for 80 and that scared me to death. The tracks on the back had 4" rubber spikes on them - a lot of spikes - You could barely hang on when you opened it up. Total rush!!
Just went for a ride with Brian. Got his O/R H's installed. Sounds really, really good. Almost forgiven him for the Alezzas...almost.
