Melbourne area stangs

Since there is no kills section I'll post this here its too funny.

I am heading home this evening at about 8:30 and I pass a Cavalier w/ a GIANT touring wing getting ready to pull onto the road. I am doing the speed limit (45mph) and I see him starting to gain on me - I suspect a ricer flyby is coming so I downshift the GT to second and keep the clutch pushed to the floor and turn off the traction control. Right as he gets along side of me I floor it and pop the clutch tires let out a squeel engine roars and I pull away from him like he is standing still about half way through 3rd I let off I am like 15+ cars out in front.

He finally catches up and pulls along side of me I am in third this time. We are rolling side by side at 40 mph and I hear his wheezy engine start to fart. He pulls about 2 cars before I respond (I was busy drinking some water) I downshift to second and floor it again. This was more fun I got to blow by him with more momentum than the first time. Same results by about 4k in 3rd I let off and coast way out in front.

We get to a light and someone is in left lane. Ricer boy get behind me. Light turns green and I just smoke the tires in his face drive up about 2 blocks and turn off before he could catch up. (and before a cop finds me) and head home.

BTW- I had the A/C on the whole time.

I love schooling ricers.

Yeah, Jim, hilarious. I don't worry about rice too much. I don't bother them, they don't bother me. It's a nice understanding we have. I don't waste gas, get a ticket, or loose brain cells from listening to their exhaust, and they don't get humiliated in front of their girl.

God know's I'm not at fault for the altezzas. I feel confident he will spare my life. As for Brian, well, I call dibs on the O/R H's...if the 98 version will fit my car, that is.

White - I have you # w/ me and yes we are on. I mentioned it to my dad and he seemed wishy washy I told him I was going regardless and he is going now. I am hoping he runs his Vette. I want to see that thing go.

I might go to the T&T here Wed night. I want to run my RX-7 before I put in new tranny. Figure if I blow this one no big deal.

I should be in town around 4:00.

My dads house is on Pt. Malabar in the golf course area. Cruise down and look for a red vette and green stang in the drive. I'll call you when I get there though.

alright cool! ill probably be out driving around, i might try and meet up with your brothers friend that was at the last autoX, so ill probably be near where you are! oh and im bringing my video camera so i can get some good video of you car and others! see ya Friday!

You talking about Ryan the graphics guy. He is really cool.

I'll have Digi and Video. ALL YOU GUYS dont be bashful at next AutoX to take the Digi or Camcorder from me and use it. The more pics/footage the better. I think I can trust you guys...right??j/k

It sucks I can't be at the next AutoX. It's going to be the first one I'm going to miss in a long time. You guys better take some good pics and video for me.

hey jim you have nextel right? i was just wondering what kind of rates they have! ive been thinking about switching for a while now but wasnt really sure what to go with!

is it really gonna hurt that much to come out and miss a couple hours of boring studying! its not like you gonna get much studying done anyway! you should just come out and race!

It's missing an entire day of studying. No way would my parents let me go. Besides, at that point, I'll be so close to graduation, with so much stuff left to do, I won't have time to do anything else. I might make Hooters, maybe. With the surgery I won't be able to go Hooters anymore after that one. Or at least I can't eat there.

You'll have to go to Nextel and see what deals they have. They are always running some sort of special. I would guess anywhere from $40 -70. I have them with my business and there are like 6 phones on the bill I never stopped to see what each one costs. I just weep every time I open the bill up.

Look if you dont know it by now its too late. You really need to take a day off and relax this way you aren't all balled up when you go to take your exam.

When I was taking my State Surveyors exam I took a seminar on how to pass the test. They said to relax and not study the day before it will not help. If you don't know the info by the day before the test its too late. They recomended relaxing the day before. I don't know about you but driving my car really hard relaxes me.

yeah i guess having 6 phones on one bill would suck pretty bad! i guess thursday ill go and check it out!

It's not all studying, though. And it's not like I won't try to relax, but taking a whole day off for it...it's not in my nature to do that. It's paper's I have to write, note's I'll need to finish making, stuff I should be doing now...but guess where I am? Stangnet...

Anywho, it's okay. I'll survive without one AutoX. Like I said, I'll try to make Hooters afterwards, though. Someone needs to give me a call when you leave the AutoX, though. That'll relax me.

yeah ive always heard that studying the day before does no good! maybe thats why i never studied! i always just tried to pay attention in class and when test/exam time came i just took the test/exam and did the best i could! and i managed to graduate with like a 3.3 or something like that! so just come out drive and relax, and if you parents say anything just tell them that the melbourne guys said it was ok!
