That's because Hawk was going to shut us down if we continued running this thread like we did. Since we don't want that, we've slowed down immensly. We just want the thread to stay open and active.
well guys, i now own 2 vehicles!!!!
i went and got me a 99 s10 regular cab, short bed, 53000 miles, 5spd, and its this awesome blue color! if i can find the software for my digi, then ill take some pics and post em! oh yeah, its a 4.3l V6! i just have to go back tomorrow and finish everything up!

Sweet, so are you going to keep the 2.3 for a v8 swap or sell it?

I finally got to drive it today and I have a small exhaust leak but that's no big deal. It feels good to drive my own car again though, my grandma 89 accord is pretty slow.

Well, I just found out today, 1 day before going over to Tampa for braces, that the whole surgery thing will cost...//drum roll, please\\...$31,000. 
Nearly enough to buy a new 2003 Cobra, or put me through college. So, I guess I won't be getting surgery as soon as I thought. The other two doctors who do this kind of stuff are in JAX and Miami. I guess we'll see what happens, but I want this thing done!

On a side note, I got Getaway in Stockholm finally. No. 2 is much better than 1 :laugh: . Both the Supra and the Cosworth Escort runnin' from the po-po

And on another side note, I don't think F Stock is going to be holding me much longer. Tomorrow I'm calling maximum motorsports. I haven't decided if I'm just going to order the one or two things (I'm keeping the secret for the time being
) or say screw it and bust the UPS guys back with a $2300 pile of twisted steel and sex appeal. I guess I'll get whatever order comes out of my mouth . If that last race hadn't been rained out, the sickness probably wouldn't have been this bad this month.

yeah yeah, way ahead of you, ive been looking for a good price on a FIPK from K&N, best price ive found so far has be 241! as for the exhaust, what would be a good way to go, borla, flows, dynamax??? im gonna need some help on the exhaust side of this! ive only gotten on it decently once today, and of course, i missed third, but this sucker moves!!! ill try and find my digi software tomorrow so i can post some pics! but let me tell you, the color in person is awesome!!! i dont think i could have been any happier with the way things turned out today!!!Originally posted by baglock1

I got pulled over last Friday night for drag racing a Camaro in my RX-7. I thought for a split second about taking off from the cop. I had about a 1/8 mile headstart on him. He didn't have my tag # yet. I thought about it. I know after a few turns he would have been toast.
Burn that onto a CD for me I want to see it. I have the first one. I wanted to see more popo action.

Research, research, research... With that said, I would go with Borla or Bassani. I tend to like the high end systems (read expensive
) just because you get what you pay for. It isn't just noise like flows do to a stang (no offense to the flowmaster owners in the room ) but clean, beautiful sound.
