hey, your blowing my cover damnit. im all knowing jason, you didnt tell me squat :nice:  :D

where exactly is your shifter located? i always thought that truck shifters were really long and the base was on the floor?? maybe im retarted, im not a big truck buff...

yeah they are long and are on the ground, but a sport shift kit, or a short shifter more or less puts less room between each gear when shifting, making it easier to shift, or quicker to shift. Normally, the gears on a trucks when you shift are kinda far apart, so it helps you go faster. But i have seen trucks where they put something to where the shifter thing is just like one on a car, kinda like in some SUV's.

No, I'm not going to be changing my mind anymore tonight. I've made my decision to save for the SVO until I get a job. When I get a job (prolly afer this whole surgery thing get's worked out) then I'll go back to messing around with the idea for getting exhaust.

:OT: ok you guys, i'm thinking about selling the Z28, and i don't know what to get. The chevy just isn't reliable enough for me, and if i'm going to be putting a lot money into a car it should be to make it go faster, not to just make it work without breaking. I want a mustang, but i don't what kind. too many i like. More or less i need something reliable, and something that will get me to Miami, and Back without breaking.

I am thinking of helping out. It would be real cool if some of you guys could help too. You seem to share my attitude towards this AutoX and we all agree it needs some help. I would like to see some workshops on Saturdays and AutoX's on Sundays. I am sure there are others in this besides me that want to become better drivers not just cone plows.

I would love to hear your input on this.

Woo hoo! There is a race this weekend! Thanks for pointing that out Jim. I looked late last week, but it wasn't up there yet.

As for the helping out, I agree. :nice:

What happened? The Z broke again? How about a 93 5.0? Good power, a really god one would cost about, what, maybe $9K? It should be reliable enough. NO MORE CHEVYS! We told you this would happen. :D

87-93 5.0s, you could probably pick up a 93 5.0 in great condition with few miles on it. Blacks automotive has a couple of nice 93s right now. Both of my 5.0s are really reliable, the only time I break something is becuase I putting out too much HP for the stock parts to handle.
94-95 5.0s, if you like the SN95 body style and want the same reliability go with one of them.
96-98 Cobra, if you have the money they make great daily drivers even with the addition of supercharger. Plan on getting one myself in about a year.

Get an honda. :( Mine's being a Pain In The ASS!

Or perhaps this one?

BTW: Nice to see you finally did get an avatar, at least. :jester:

EDIT:
Couldn't get the rest sized right. But those are the only pics I have of your car, and I've deleted none of them.

How is yours a pain in the ass? You also have to understand you have a 13 year old car and stuff wears out after abuse and years of service. Same thing goes for any honda or other import, you buy an older car with mileage on it, expect yourself having to fix something. After owning my 88 vert for 4 years and now having close to 97k miles on it. I think I have less than $400 into having to replace parts that have worn out. Now the money I have spent on mods is a different story

Awhile back when I asked about the autocross pics you said you didn't think you had them anymore  . Anyways, I wasn't going to keep that avatar for long. I've already got another sized. Do me a favor though and email what pics you have to me, including whatever other autox pics you have. Thanks

I don't know what I want to do yet. I don't want something a little more reliable I guess. I'm getting great gas mileage though......20 city/28 highway. Now only if stuff would stop breaking. It was fine until I moved to orlando and quite my job in cocoa. Go figure. BLAH!
