yea i made the drive up from sebastain . An my car with the speaker box an all an it went a 15.30@94:barf: then got back in the stageing lanes dan helped me bump my timing to 14 * an i ran a 16 with me looking at the grandstands at half track {sidesways in third gear woo hoo } well i just hope my coupe gets a better bite cause that was scary

Hey guys! Just stickin my head in to say hello. Baglock1 referred me to this thread. I was seriously thinking about going to the auto-x in Palm Bay on the 23-24 of Nov. Baglock said some of the guys using this thread may be going. I'd like to hook up with any stangers that will be there.

I've never tried auto-x before but though I would see how the old Cobra does with it's new shocks and struts. I know it will be quite different from the drag strip anyway. You don't get penalized for burning out do you? :confused:

No tire warmups at Palm Bay. :lol: You'll want to stick with street tires anyways unless you have some road racing DOT tires.

On a slightly related topic, I think I am going to try and make it out there. I really need at least one AX on these new tires before I go out recommending them. That, and TJ needs the competition. :nice:

Hopefully I'll be able to make it. I don't think much will be going on school wise next week, with classes only until Wednesday. I want to get one more X in before all the new equipment goes on. :)

Looks like I'll be there on the 24th for autox :) BTW, course layout is posted at EEC website! Looks like fun :nice: It's always nice to see another friendly Mustang face there, come on out. :nice: We will prolly be down toward the far end of the pit lane, like eric said look for his blue/silver Fox, my teal SN95 or baglock1's white GTS.

Hate to burst your bubble Eric, but I would look foolish out there in my 88LX. It has a spool, 90/10 Lakewoods, Hoosier slicks on the rear and skinnies up front!

I will be out in my grocery getter, a 95 Cobra sporting R-wheels and 275-40 RE-71's.

Well, all my parts are now officially in at TJ's. Just 11 more days. He said he would have done it today if it weren't for a blue Fox he was working on...course, not like I would have had the money to pay him. :( Something tells me the next 11 days are gonna be R-E-A-L slow. :bang:

As for the course, it looks sweet, but I'm getting tired of these Miata morons putting the timing box at an angle where we are headed straight toward it. Maybe they can handle a corner like that...but it's a bit more of a challenge for us. :uzi:
