Melbourne area stangs

Good luck to everyone today, was going to make the trip but half the family is sick so im stuck up here today. Anyway see everyone next year. And CONGRATS to baglock on the championship in FS this year, good the torch passed to a fellow mustang.

So who is going to win FS next year? It has to be a mustang(tradition)

I ended up 2ed place in ESP in both CFR region and JAX region this year, i prolly need to run more events in just one region, but o'well.

Just wanted to post and let everyone know that I had a great time at the auto-x today. :D It was nice meeting Eric, Black Magic, Baglock, Dan and I think 94-Teal-GT (if that was Kevin). Congrats to Kevin  for getting 1st and being bumped out of Novice Street today!

I did manage to find the traction limits on my stock street rubber and even learned a lot about driving smooth. Thanks to Jerry and Jay for the instruction Saturday and today, especially to Jay for spending a lot of seat time with me. Jay helped with technique and pointed out much better lines in and out of the turns for me. :nice:

By the end of the day I was driving smoother and turned a decent 37.3 that I wasted  when I forgot to turn right at the finish line!!! :damnit:

I think I might try this again next month!

lots of fun today, and lots of cones smashed:jester: i only managed to take out 3 cones on the third run....i thought i got more then that:doh: my only clean run was my last, and it was only a 38.2:scratch: but im still learning to drive the car:nice:

Ill be posting pics later of dans burnout with his old tires...im just to lazy to resize then right now:jester:

Yep that was me :) It was nice meeting you as well:nice: You had me worried because you were getting better throughout the day and I was getting worse:bang: I must say I was impressed by the amount of Mustang Muscle that was there today:nice:

And congrats to Glenn for getting bumped out of Novice Street as well:banana:

First off, congratulations to Kevin and Glenn! Now, as David mentioned, who wants to step up to carry the torch for the FS champ? :)

In retrospect, there was so many mustangs there, we should have gotten a group shot on the skid pad. I believe there was over a dozen stangs there today (but not all raced).

Thanks for the pics Dan. In the words of Howie Long (in Broken Arrow), "You da man!" :nice:

Well, y'all, now I have a second reason to be looking forward to Firday...I'm going out on a date! She and I have been friends for a while, but she just broke up with her b/f, so I'm moving in. :nice:

And no, for those who know, this isn't Alli ( :( :( :( ) but another girl. Alli still is extremely happy with her current b/f, Alex. :( :( :damnit: :bang:

:uzi: :) (<---Alex)

Um Baglock, were those retreads you had on there:stick:
You cooked 'em good!!!!
Did you have to go far to find a good spot?

Just an FYI, you guys cut out early and missed the funeral for the 3 cones that lost their lives today ;) Not sure who did them in but they were history! Not even viagra would make them stand up again.
As far a FS, in talking with everyone, I think all our cars have been modded too much for FS........:( But Baglock is right someone has to keep that Mark VIII(aka the couch) in check

Kevin

yeah, as soon as erich gets his exhaust on, he'll be in esp too....theres gonna be a lot of people in esp this year:scratch:

I guess I need to get a rule book and see how much I would have to pull off my car to make it FS legal. I think my biggest faux pax would be the subframes. Not sure about the R wheels since they did come stock on the SCCA legal R model in 95. For that matter maybe the R springs would be legal and the FMS B's aren't?
