Sorry to hear about what happened , Dan.
I don't know how it feels to have your car broken into, but I'm sure it sucks some serious balls. Stuff like that shouldn't happen to good people.
I hope you bump into them one day and beat them up.

It was pretty good, I still spin alot though. The crowd wasn't bad but there must of been a sale on bikes or something. There was aline of bikes all the was around the bend.

You think maybe "Bike Week" had something to do with that? In the past few years Harley had rented the track to run bike drag races on Wednesda nad Thursday of Bike Week. I was surprised that HD wasn't there again this year.

Congrats on the new times! I think your a pair of drag radials away from the 13's. You may still do it with extra seat time and practicing your launch. You should be able to get a 1.9x short time with practice on street tires. That should put you close if not into the 13's. I was able to do a 1.94 on my Goodyear GS-C's when the track was prepped and I launched by slipping the clutch at 3500 RPM. That was good for a 13.64 @101 on my stock 95 Cobra with headers and H-pipe.

Yeah I am going to try and work on that time.
I am thinkning about getting some vinyl letters made for my car number. IS there any regulations as how large they have to be or what color? I am going to get them in white so they are easy to see.

What is Brevard Motorsports? and where is it at?

Hey Tim, I will be there. I got my new spherical bearing from J&M this week so my clunk will be fixed. I was looking over their rules and it looks like we will have to run in the MSCC GTP class.

BTW, how old are your front struts? Maybe it is making a noise if it is real high mileage.

Dont not I repeat DO NOT use your traction control.All it does is shuts down your ignition system and starts running the back brakes which all it does is slow you down till it decides to let you go again.I tried it once it was fairly bad.

The Harley races were in Gainsville this year on Tues/Wed. My boss was there, but I didn't get a chance to ask him about it.

Hey man, they really pissed me off.
Dave thought that I should post on their site , an ad for my car, since I'm selling it here in the next month or so.
So I do, and I'm honest about it's issue's and what not. If you are handy with mechanical stuff ( which I'm not yet ) the issue's that it has, aren't that big of a deal.
So the first few replies I get, are from a couple guys telling me that my car is a pos. For example: " 1k seems like a lot of money for such a ragged out piece of **** "
These guys aren't even interested in it man! They just want to talk ****! WTF is up with that. All I'm trying to do is get the word out to anyone who may be interested, and they want to come up in there for no reason and start talking **** to me about my car. Like I said before, it may be a pos in some aspect's, but it's MY pos. So they can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned. I have no tolerance for people like that. People like that make me want to move out of this stupid town.

I do agree, they were acting like jerks on that thread... I wouldn't let it bother you too much... You'll sell the Probe, it just takes patience to sell a car... It will be all worth it once you get your Mustang...

this is soo true! took me almost 8 months to sell my old notchback.....damn me for selling that car
