I got the shift light installed yesterday. It's screwed into the underside of the rear view mirror, next to the little switch that pops it up when the *******s with the high beams are behind you (which no longer works).

Eh, just gotta look away from it when I turn the car on. Otherwise I rarely even drive up to where it's set (5.2K) so it's not really a problem. I want it to be bright, though, when I want to shift.

What all do you have done to your car now? Last time I checked you were just getting a shifter for it.

LOL, it's been a while, then.

The light is pretty small, actually. At least length wise. I don't have a pic yet, but here's the link. Raptor I have the blue one.

Well, went to the track last night and right as I was the next car to line up they shut down due to lightning and bad weather. Oh well maybe next Wed will be better weather.

well guys, my month just keeps getting better and better..... i got hit again while i was at work, and didnt know till i left to go home, and today me and TJ found a crack in my intake manifold. i need to win the lottery

no, we called ford to see if it was under any recalls, and they said no. but i do have an extended warranty and they are going to cover it, and tj gets to do the work. so thats one less thing to worry about

it may be good timing...

...to upgrade that intake! don't know if TJ could get the $$ from Ford & aply it to an aftermarket one for ya...or if it would help on the stock heads....just curious here.....

there are only 2 intakes i know of for the 4.6, the bullitt intake and the newer ones like mine, but have aluminum runners in them so this wont happen. and the warranty isnt from ford, i got it thru the credit union i have my loan thru. they said all they needed was an estimate from him so they could approve the work hopefully ill have it back by monday

God those 4.6 liter intakes are FREAKY looking! Never looked around much at those modular motors...they're SOHC except for special models right?
