as far as Bithlo goes...it is $15 to run on Sunday as well(I just checked their website). It's not a great deal if you compare them to other tracks(gainesville, Moroso, Bradenton) as those tracks stay open longer & are better prepped & in some cases cheaper....Oh, well, it's what we have to go with....
I hope to meet up with some people to head out there together....Black, you going???
later!

Too bad it's Sunday already and I work soon...but...that's food for thought. I imagine it's a little less busy on Sunday. Black..which discount do you work at...Malabar or Babcock? Just curious. I go to the Malabar one ALL THE TIME...can't beat the prices, and Autozone sucks ass. Although for the good stuff I go to AutoPro Racing. Some of their stuff is cheaper than ordering from Summit! I saved about $7 on my Blaster TFI coil through AutoPro.

Well my little high rpm power drop off is rearing its ugly head again.Did it to me 5 times today. Now I know it was doing it at orlando last night as well. Its got to be those damn plugs being blown out by the vortech.

Your problem isn't the plugs, unless they are high mileage. My estimate is that it's the extra cylinder pressure and the ignition system's inability to deliver sufficient spark energy. You could try tightening up your spark plug gap a bit to help out. The best option is to get an add-on ignition system that will deliver extra spark energy. I'm not too familiar with what is available for those coil-on-plug systems though, so you will just have to do some investigation.

hey 'Mr speed typist!'

We did tighten up the gap.It fixed it for awhile now its doing it again. They are just autolight plugs.Vortech also said the same thing. They said it was most likely the plugs for the stock coil on plug ignition is up to the job.But they also said it wouldnt hurt to get a hotter ignition either. So my cheap route is to get some new plugs like NGK or better with a lower heat range for the MSD stacker 8 is almost 400 bucks which I will not have for awhile for my bills are coming up.

You might loo kinto trying some Denso plugs. They are excellent plugs and I think may be found at Autozone. Accel plugs are just repackaged Denso's with a yellow insulator.

Well I finally got my convertible up and running today. Didn't have a chance to drive it yet because I am putting on new rotors and pads up front and I am also doing some work in the fender wells. But the plan is to finish all that stuff when I get out of my advanced driveability class tomorrow afternoon and have the car back on the road for a little test and tune.
The car is running great and idles perfectly which I was glad to see. The thing is also extremely loud, my car was loud before but with the new cyl heads and cam you can really hear this thing thumping through the exhaust. Nothing beats the blower whine and the lumpy cam
